Residential Resale Inspections
Single family, Condos, Townhouses, Multi-family
During the housing boom, a resale home typically was one that had been previously owned and occupied and was on the market to be sold. In today’s housing market that definition has become somewhat clouded. Edifice conducts a resale type inspection on previously owned homes, some vacant some occupied, homes that are one to three years old that have never been lived in and also foreclosed properties of various ages. These homes are typically going to be owner occupied. We encourage clients to attend inspections which average from two to three hours depending on the size, type and condition of the property.
The following is a list of inspected areas: roof, siding, trim, windows and doors, heating and cooling systems, electrical systems, plumbing, foundation, visible framing, drainage, interior wall and ceiling coverings, kitchen appliances, red flags suggesting mold or other health issues.
